My morphine prescription expired last Saturday and it took the nursing staff here at the San Francisco Nursing Center more than two days to refill it. I know that if I want to change my life I have to get off the drugs completely, but I need the pain killer until I get better and I'm able to walk again.
Currently, I'm in a wheelchair because of my foot injury. It's getting better as you can see from the picture of the injury below.

Surgery Date is Set
A surgery date has been set for October 29th. The podiatrist is going to do a skin graft and lengthen my Achilles tendon. Talk about a life change!
Maybe after all this is said and done, I'll Starr going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings so I can change my life. I'm running out of excuses and I really do want a better life.
